So I know I haven't been here in a long time... on this blog anyway, I've even slowed down considerably on the YouTube videos.... just think since I've been in one place so long I really don't have much exciting to share with you all... but I've been thinking about this dream alot lately... off and on over the years but more so the last month or so... so thought I'd share...
I'd like to find smaller RV parks, 100 spaces or less and go in and fix up clean up organize market etc. Get it running good and then move on to the next one. Maybe a year in each one to get it running good, pretty, or whatever it needs.
Find and hire workkampers with specific skills to do specific things to help reach the ultimate goal.
So does that sound too crazy?
Life after Kids, I'm now a FULL TIME RVer (VanDweller)... this is just my ramblings about this n that and here n there. Nuttin important, but you might come across something that catches your eye.

Reflections in Arizona
Well.... seems my time in Arizona is coming to an end... and what an adventures trip its been....most that look at this blog are on my FB and know all the woes and such, I won't go into detail about all that. Even with all the troubles I had a pretty grand adventure. I came to Quartzsite AZ to see the "Big Show"... millions of RVers gathering in January every year. And WOW what a sight! I met new people daily, saw all kinds of rigs from prius to luxury buses... and EVERYONE I met was friendly, helpful and generous with their time and talents. One took my flat tire off and took it and myself to town to get fixed, one went and bought a starter when mine went out in the McDonalds parking lot and paid someone to put it on on a Wednesday knowing I did not get paid until Friday, another after just a few hours of meeting put my new brake pads on, they shared their meals, campfires, conversations. It could not have been a better gathering of better folks.
I got on rather quickly at the local grocery store and was making good progress on the van repairs when I fell and broke my arm and immediately got layed off work... Brenda, a fellow vandweller.... nursed me for the next few weeks. I don't know what I would have done without her during that time. She kept me sane, not so depressed, and even fastened my bra daily. I cannot thank her enough !
So off to Yuma in mid February, thinking since it was a bigger town I might be able to find a job with the arm in a sling... was there 7 weeks and no luck. I relied on the generous friends I have to put a few bucks in my paypal here n there to keep fuel in the Beast and food in my belly. Again I don't know how I can ever thank them all... you know who you are and I thank you very much for your help.
When I finally got into the doctor in March and got new Xrays and the OK to take off the sling and start working the arm muscles I immediately went to the upcoming county fair and got on to sell ride tickets for the week. Now that was an adventure! While there I connected with another county fair in Phoenix and left Yuma to work that one. This time working the ride photo booth on the rollercoaster.
Now I'm back in Quartzsite on my way into California for the next show in San Bernardino next week... visiting the last of my traveling friends in Q for 2 nites, then I'm off for the California adventure.
Now this is surely the short version... just felt like writing a bit... reminding myself I'm sooooo not a writer LOL
Much love to you all and be sure to go watch my videos on YouTube

Long and somewhat gross tale
WARNING this is kinda gross ... don't read if you have a weak tummy.... I think its kinda funny now that its over... I musta been quiet a site...
Well I finished my first week as a Carney.... sat in a 6x8 foot air conditioned box selling ride tickets for 10-14 hours a day for 6 days.... well I made it 5 days and then IT happened.... so here's the sad tale... from day 1 my partner in the box complained of stomach issues, then throughout the week several others working got sick too... & between Tues-Sat I ate 2 funnel cakes, 2 cinnabons, 2 chili cheese fries, 2 chicken quesadillas, 1 super nachos, 4 breakfast burritos, 1 fried pickles, 1 fried oreos, 1 mexican bowl, and approximately 2-4 cokes a day and not near enough H2O...
Sunday morning I'm sleeping in the Walmart parking lot and about 3am, I wake to my stomach turning, afraid to move... then it hit and I am rushing to grab shorts and get the side doors open... I grab my bucket and in tryin to get what was coming out my rear I pissed on the floor...GEEZ! So I think I'm done and I roll up the rugs and put them in my laundry bag, and I get my shorts on and take the bucket outside by the drain in the parking lot... I just turned the bucket over and left it there... and began puking. Once my insides calmed down I cleaned up ... thank GOD for baby wipes... and layed back down. Around 5 or so, sun not up yet so still dark, it hits me again... this time I have no bucket... so rushing to get the doors open... my feet barely hit the ground and I'm bend over puking and uncontrollably pooping all over myself and the Walmart parking lot. Praying no one drives by that end of the parking lot since I've got poop running down my legs. I grab my lap blanket off the bed and wrap it around me and get the dirty shorts off.... I cleaned up again... and layed there wondering if I was dieing.
When the sun came up I put on some pants and drove to the fairgrounds showers. Managed to shower... then walk tot he midway office and ask if I could take first break which would mean I didn't have to get back in my box until 1pm so I could go try and nap. I parked next to the bathroom there with the showers and ended up spending all that time before 1pm in and out of the bathroom. I spent all day sitting on the toilet and didn't get to work at all.
Now that its all over and my tummy is feeling much better I can look back and laugh... if you see someone sick in a parking lot I would suggest you keep moving and let them be... they are likely embarresed enough as it is.

It's Broken
Well its been a while since I've put anything on the ole Blog... so heres whats shakin in my world... Been in Quartzsite AZ since Jan10.... after ice the snow storm delays and multiple engine troubles I made it. Found a place to park, lept good under the desert stars... on the 11th I went in search of Free WiFi and found the locaL McDs. I cruised the Quartzsite FB groups and within an hour had a job at the local grocery store.
The next morning (12th) I started working. At that time the Beast was still overheatng and the idler arm was knocking and about to fall off at any time. I was still driving approx 8ish miles into the desert at nite.... with the overheating it was taking me about an hour to go the 8 miles and that first week I had TWO flats... so I decided no more desert driving for now and found me a spot at the Pilot Truck Stop about 3 miles from work.
I've enjoyed the job, have done nothing but work and the Pilot. One evening the van only clicked when I went to start it so
