ukoOh WOW what a weekend... I had a Scentsy booth with Carolyn, Twila & Staci at the 2011 Kemah PanJam Sat & Sun.. weather was great!. I met lots of cool people. And man o man am I beat.
Well I'm up to 271, which means I've lost only 4 lbs since Valentines Day when I started at the Y. After the Lemonade Diet I've noticed how food makes me feel. I feel sluggish, tired, sleepin longer again and all over yucky, especially right after a meal. I'm not eatin the celery as much as I thought I would, have been eating some fruit, fish, & rice at home. Makin sure I have veggies with every meal I make at home. I've totally cut sodas and tea.. been drinkin alot of water, and juice as well as a glass of milk every morning. I did have 2 sodas at resturants but I did not finish the glass and definately did not have 2nds. I don't eat much, but this spring break week I went out to eat 5 times, and did not go to the Y at all.
So I find myself worryin about what goes in my body and how long its in there. And I have not started takin all the vitamins I was taking before the Lemonade Diet. I just don't want to eat... lookin forward to gettin on the Lemonade Diet again April 1st
well I made myself scrambled eggs and sausage this mornin for breakfest and had a big ole glass of milk with it.... was soooooo yummmmmmyyyyy. No effects from eatin a whole meals yet. Planin to make fish and rice tonight.... goin to cut up my celery in a few and try that for snacks during the day.
well... busy settin up the garage sale stuff and after 3 hours of messin around my tummy just now rumbled. Tongue is not as yucky as it was, but not all pink yet. I think I just decided I'm havin dinner this evening.
Which marks the end of my Lemonade Diet.... this go round anyway... lost 11 lbs as of this morning... not bad... now to just not gain it all back. Thats the hard part. I went yesterday and bought groceries, bought celery and non fat cream cheese... thats my new snack food... gonna have to learn to like it. I'm not a health nut but goin to definately eat healthier, no more Taco Bell... I will however do Whataburger breakfest taquitos occasionally.
This no food thing was definately not as miserable or hard as I expected, but then I did cheat twice with a few bites. The plan now is to do this again come Apriland go for 21 days, which is how long it takes to break a habit, so I hear.
I made it to Day 10, I haven't been totally loyal to the lemonade drink. I had those couple of bites of pinnapple, then the bites of Pizza, and last night a tortilla. But hey I still lost some weight and I feel noticibly better. Tongue still whitish, still poo'in a few chunks. So I think I've detoxed some, maybe not all but some.
So Teena and I are goin thru Fri... the we plan to start again the first of April. This is not near as hard as I thought it would be. I have passing thoughts of food, but no "drive me crazy" urges for food. Today I want Tacos, yesterday I wanted a bologna sandwich all day.
Man o Man last night I was watching Paycheck with Ben Afleck, and around 9pm I had the worst hunger pains ever. Was crazy! I haven't been having much hunger pains at all till then. I went and drank a Lemon/syrup drink and went to bed. This morning no hunger pains.
Tongue still yucky, still poo'in chunks... plannin to stop Friday which will be Day 13... but kinda hate to stop till I'm all detoxed. When the tongue is a pretty pink again and no more poo'in chunks. Well, we'll see how it is Friday I guess.
Nothin else to report, just another day in paradise
So far so good, not having any hunger pains, tongue still yucky. Won't get on a scale again till tomorrow at the YMCA. So far the plan it to go thru Friday then stop till after Spring break, then try it again.
I stayed up till 11pm-ish watchin The Green Mile, what a good flick. Teena made us each a cup of hot herbal laxative tea, with a shot of pure maple syrup... was tasty.
Well here I am, Saturday, Day 6. My tummy is still turnin over the bites of pizza last nite. I took in the sea salt drink this morning and have not wondered far from my restroom yet today. Didn't sleep much last nite, tummy turned all night. No hunger pains so far. Tongue stills looks all white and taste nassy. I brush my teeth several times more a day than usual to try and get rid of the nasty taste, doesn't work for long tho.
Teena and I have been plannin our gettin off around $1.99 Ritas at El Toro Tuesday. We thought if we juice on Sunday, Soup on Monday maybe we'll be OK for Rita Tuesday. LOL Then after Spring Break maybe shootin for the 21 days.
Well... so many things to share, not sure if I can remember it all but can always come back and add to this note as I think of them. Well, first thing is my tongue looks and taste NASTY! Thats susposed to be the toxins leaving my body but eewwwww. I'm sure my breathe is as nasty as it taste in my mouth. I'm also still sleeping less, I woke up way early this morning and was just wide awake, and thats after stayin up till 11pm-ish watchin a movie with Teena. Also, I am not fighting a nap at 2-3pm everyday like I have for years. Energy is definately up.
I was pretty snotty when I started, caught a bit of a head cold, thats all gone now. I've heard another job of the ceyenne is to loosen mucus as well as clean your blood.
The 6 lbs I lost from Monday to yesterday seems to be all around my boobs, seems the cup on my bras are a bit too big today...LOL Shorts & jeans still too big around the belly and hips, WOOT!
Day 4 was all hunger pains, that empty tummy feeling and this morning Aunt Flo came... a bit early for her usual visit. Its hard to feed Christian and not eat... poor kid has to be fed tho. Thats my hardest time not to eat.
This morning I went runnin around with Teena, hit a few garage sales and I seemed to notice every resturant along the way. I didn't have urges to go, just seemed to enter then leave my mind. I thought that was strange. I saw the golden arches and imediately thought "I wanna coke" but it passed as fast as it came.
I'm still poo'in chunks, I know thats gross, but on Day 5 I would think there would be nuttin left in me 'cept maybe those 2 bites of pinnapple I had the other nite. I have not done the sea salt thing today, figured I would be out n about for a while I better wait till I can hang by the toilet. The sea salt is working like a scrub on the walls of my intestines, and I suppose its takin a bit to work loose 45 years of bad eating habits.

P.S.... 7pm Day 5... I took Christian to Chuck E Cheese to play, thought I was fine. Got him a small pizza and some tokins and me a water.... pizza came he ate a couple of pieces and went off to play another game and I grabbed a piece and took 3 bites.... MISTAKE... wasn't but a few minutes and my tummy was rumbling and I ran to the restroom.... uuggggg ... finally able to tleave the restroom and gathered Christian and headed home. Now home and tummy feels ick... also having cramps which i rarely ever have had before.
Well I failed.... last nite in a moment of weekness on one of my randon walks into the kitchen, I ate two bites of pinnapple. I was sooo mad at myself afterwards. I wasn't hungry, they were just there. Not sure how this will effect the diet, but I'm going to keep at it anyway. And definatly try harder to stop the random walks into the kitchen.
My tongue has a funky white flim on it which they say is a sign of toxins leaving my body. Also, I have, from Day 1, put a good amount of ceyenne in my drink, Teena says I'll regret it but so far so good. Makes the drink a bit spicey. I've always heard pepper speeds up your metabolism, maybe thats why I have always pepper'd things up when I eat. I now learned that the ceyenne acts as a blood cleanser. That I did not know till this morning.
I've noticed the last two night I'm not needin as much sleep as I normally do... you know how older people sleep 3-4 hours a night... I sleep 9-10... been wonderin when I'll not think I need to sleep so long, maybe that day has come.
I watched a few more videos on youtube about the diet and while it all sounds great I'm not having the self revelations that some seem to be having I have noticed a few things here n there. Maybe that will still come. I am however agreeing with them on the sea salt thingy. That works great... if you want a quick inexpensive way to clean out your colon try it.... approx 10 oz of water with 2 tablespoons of unidodized sea salt, then hang near the rest room for the next hour. I was shocked how fast and easy it worked and how much stuff is still passin thru me on Day 4.
So this girl here says she eats a small meal everyday around 5pm and still lost 7lbs by Day 4.. which is all good, but the main reason for the diet is to cleanse, the weight lose is a bonus
I did notice yesterday I had alot of energy... I went for a pretty long walk around the neighborhood, and was kinda giggling at muself for the pep in my step. Not sure if its the diet or not but was a good and fun walk.
So this morning I went to the YMCA for my morning workout, which I haven't done since Monday (shame on me), and I usually only get on the scales on Mondays, but decided to jump on one this morning and I've lost 6 lbs since this past Mondays weightin. I'm stoked!! 270 lbs TODAY WOOT!!! It's goin DOWN!
Well not much to say today... I'm not having hunger pains, which really surprizes me. It seems food has been more of something to do than a need. Teena was telllin me that it takes 21 days to break a habit and she wants to go for at least that long. Thinkin I'll see how the 10 days go first. Then she found an article online about a lady with the same illness that she has, and said after 30 days of the Lemonade Diet her illness was gone! So shes all excited. I looked up some youtube videos and saw a lady lost about 10 lbs a week. I think I'll just wait and see how it does for me and stick to my Monday weight ins at the YMCA.
The unidodized sea salt and water mixture is workin like a champ... if you try it make sure you have the next hour or so to stick near a toilet. It works fast. I've done it all 3 days so far... not sure theres any food particals left in me at this point... LOL
this guys says he lost 10 lbs in 3 days...

Tummy turning this morning, not goin far from the rest room yet today.
Made it all day yesterday with no food. I never got hungry, I did however walk to the kitchen I dunno how many times, and then when I got there, I had nothing to do. I also thought about food literally all day, not urges really, just thoughts of .....bologna, cheese, pickles and nacho cheese doritos with mustard between two slices of wheat bread... snickerdoddle cookies... chicken enchiladas... margaritas... mac n cheese... nilla puddin... bananas... LOL
Well, they say the first 3 days are the worst and the rest is a piece of cake... mmmm red velvet cake I'm thinkin.
